Sure! Your bed will be ready from the moment you check in. Each bed is dressed with:

How are the bathrooms? Are they shared? Where are they located? Is there hot water?

The bathhouse is centrally located for easy access from each Kúuchil and the common areas. Each Kúuchil is situated between 10 and 30 meters from the bathroom. The bathhouse has a men's section and a women's section. each section is equipped with 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 sinks. The showers have hot and cold running water and 100% natural, biodegradable and proudly Mexican amenities.

What are the food options on the property? Are they included in my reservation?

Your reservation includes continental breakfast. This breakfast is delivered in a basket directly to your Kúuchil every morning between 7 am and 8 am and contains:
If you do not arrange in advance for your hot meals, there is a high possibility we will not be able to help you. IMPORTANT : Due to the lack of electricity, Mama Loo.mm cannot store food or drinks that guests bring with them. |
Can I buy food, drinks or snacks on the property?

Yes, we offer the option of a fixed menu including hot breakfasts, and prepared meals. Menus vary daily. You may make arrangements for meals prior to your arrival. Please contact us to coordinate as these services have an extra cost that must be settled before your arrival.
also... We do not have a "formal" store, but we do our best effort to keep essential items (such as snacks, tooth brushes, tampons, sanitary napkings, etc) available for sale at the property. Ask a staff member to see what we have available. Payment for any of this items must be in cash and in Mexican Pesos. We do not sell beverages on the property, but you will find purified water in La Palapa to refill your favorite water bottle. |
Can I bring alcoholic beverages?

Although it is not prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages, we remind you that you will be in the jungle sharing the space with the native species of the region and we recommend keeping your five senses alert so that you can enjoy the experience without any setback.

What time is check in and check out?
|
Check in is at 3 pm and Check out is at 11 am.
In order to provide the best possible service, we ask our guests to provide us with their arrival time to the property. Please contact us if you absolutely must arrive to the property after 6pm. Early check in and late check out subject to availability. |
Why am I limited to entering the property no later than 6 pm?
|
The sun sets at approximately 6 pm each night and the property darkens completely, so if it is your first day on the property you will want to get to know your way around while there is still sunlight in order to orient yourself and get settled in. Please let us know in advance if it is absolutely necessary that you arrive later than 6 pm in order to coordinate your reception.

Can I bring my pet?
|
Unfortunately no, on the property, we have animals that help protect visitors and those living on the property, therefore, for the safety of your pet, they are not allowed. However, service animals are allowed. Documentation confirming the need for a service animal is required in advancd. Any service animal must be trained, and must be kept on their leash at all times. Arrangements must be made and agreed to in advance and in writing.
We ask that service animals sleep on the floor of the Yurt tents, and that they are supervised during the entire time of your visit. |
Is there electricity? Will I be able to charge my cell phone?

Mama Loo.mm is an "off the grid" property, that is, we do not have electricity. If you wish to use your cell phone as a camera, we suggest that you bring your power banks so that you can recharge them.

Is there Wifi and / or cellular signal?
|
On the property there is no Wifi or cell phone signal. There is also no television or cable signal. Sometimes near the main entrance door you can get a cell signal, however we invite you to take advantage of your visit to Mama Loo.mm and disconnect from technology and immerse yourself in your experience with nature.

Can I bring my children?
|
Children are welcome. Each Kúuchil has a maximum capacity of 4 people and we have 2 family Kúuchil with a maximum capacity of 6 people per Kúuchil. One of the family ones consist of 1 yurt for 4 people (2 queen bed) and a teepee for 2 people (1 queen bed) , while the other family one is an extra large yurt with 3 queen beds under one roof.

What is included with my reservation?

Is there anything that is NOT included in my reservation?
|
Any activity or service not detailed in your reservation such as a temazcal or massage or any of the other activities mentioned in the corresponding section will have an extra cost.
IMPORTANT: Please consider that any activity or service not previously arranged will be subject to availability and must be settled in cash in Mexican pesos. |
Can I bring my own tent and set it up myself? How about my RV?
|
We want your Glamping experience to be the best possible experience and we hope that everything is ready and waiting your arrival, therefore personal tents are NOT allowed. We also do not have RV connections/spaces available.

Is smoking allowed on the property?
|
Smoking is not allowed in or near the yurt tent or in your Kúuchil. For you and other visitors' convenience, there are designated smoking areas in some of the common areas.

Can I light my own campfire?
|
No, campfires are only allowed in the stone circles provided and should only be handled by our staff. Every afternoon, the campfire in your Kúuchil will be lit by our staff for your comfort.
Please refrain from burning any material other than wood provided in the campfires. |
Is there a safe for my valuables?
|
No, we do not have a safe. We suggest that you keep your valuables such as money, jewelry, cameras, passports, etc. with you at all times.
|
Is there a store or stand where I can buy personal use products on the property?
|
No, we do not have a store or personal items for sale on the property. We recommend that you bring any medicine, insect repellent and / or sunscreen friendly to the environment or producer of personal use that you may need.
We ask that if you plan to use sunscreen, you make sure that it is earth friendly and that you apply it at least 20 min before using the pool. |
Should I take my trash with me when I leave?

No, we provide garbage and recycle containers in your Kúuchil and in common areas. Please deposit all waste in these and our staff will take care of processing it correctly.

Is there parking? Is there a cost? Is it close to my glamping?
|
Yes, each Kúuchil has assigned space for one car in the parking area of the property. This area is close to the main entrance of Mama Loo.mm. There is no separate cost for parking.

Is accessibility to Mama Loo.mm recommended for someone with mobility limitations?

Due to the nature of the property and our commitment to keep it as natural as possible, it is not recommended for people with mobility limitations.

What is a Kúuchil? What is a yurt tent ?
|
Kúuchil means space ior place n Maya.. Yurt tent is your "room" or tent. Your yurt tent is within your space or Kúuchil.

You can get there using a personal or rental car, a private airport shuttle service (please agree on the price BEFORE boarding the unit) or by public transport. We are located 1 km from the SELVATICA zip line park and 300 meters from XTREME ADVENTURE. If you come from Puerto morelos look for the property on the right hand side with bougainvillea flowers of many colors on the fence. If you come from Leona Vicario, Chichén Itza, we will be on your left hand. The entrance is on the side of the road. IMPORTANT: Approximately 3 min from entering the Puerto Morelos highway to Leona Vicario, the cell phone signal is lost and your maps app will probably not connect to the satellite either.
