Kúuchil

It means space or place in Maya of the region ~ The sounds of nature invite us to stop, to pause our daily life, to take a moment to meditate and reflect on what we truly desire. Immerse yourself in nature and sleep crumpled by the sounds of the leaves falling down the walls of your yurt or in the hammock of your own Kúuchil.

What does your stay include?

In your Kúuchil you will find:
A waterproof yurt tent that measures 4 x 4 x2.30 meters high (12.33 square meters), with 3 large mesh windows. The door also has mosquito netting allowing free and generous air flow.
Two outdoor wooden chairs, and a 30 cm x 30 cm x 70 cm high table created from Tzalam wood (Carribbean walnut) by local artisans.
A stone circle fire pit, with enough firewood for your stay.
A bucket of water, a bucket of sand and a fire extinguisher as preventative measures.
A typical Yucatan individual sized hammock.
Solar powered LED light string.
Each Kúuchil measures approximately 7.5 meters in diameter.

Within each yurt tent, for your comfort you will find:

A queen-size high air mattress (1.5mx 2.03mx.45cm high) dressed in cotton sheets, 2 pillows, cotton duvet with a medium temperature polyester fill, as well as a queen size fleece blanket.
An inflatable lounge chair with a small side table.
Battery Powered LED Light string w/ switch.
One small flashlight
A bedside table with lamp.
A battery operated fan.
Area, bedside, and entrance mats (internal and external).
For every guest in the yurt you will receive:
- One throw blanket, bath towel and water bottle with glass.
- Continental breakfast

Capacity
- We have 4 Kúuchiles with a maximum capacity of 2 people per yurt tent (1 queen bed)
- We have 1 Kúuchil with a maximun capacity of 4 people per yurt tent (2 queen beds)
- We have 2 family-sized Kúuchil with a maximum capacity of 6 people.

  - Familiar B
    - One Yurt for 4 people (2 queen beds)
    - A Tipee for 2 people (1 queen size bed)

Note: Sheets and towels are changed once per stay (unless otherwise requested)
